Main Hall

Comfy under-floor heating and a spectacular high ceiling makes the Main Hall the perfect venue for special celebrations such as weddings. Along one end there are huge sliding doors that open into the Social Area.

Social Area

The carpeted Social Area is linked to the Main Hall via huge sliding doors to create one enormous space when needed. It is light and airy and lit partly by spectacular globe chandeliers. There are hatches through to the kitchen and the bar area and an open plan play deck above the kitchen, looking down over the space below.

Small Hall

The sunny yellow Small Hall is kitted out with a sink and is used by art groups, who find the light ideal, as well as for exercise classes, dancing, pre-school drama, meetings and meditation.

Kitchen and Bar area

There is a well equipped kitchen with three fridges, a dishwasher and a five ring cooker. White crockery is available to hire for large events.

Meeting rooms

Two attractive upstairs meeting rooms and one small downstairs room, provide space for meetings, classes and events requiring more intimate space.

Outdoor space

We have a small, pretty garden and a yard. There is a ramp for wheelchair users running from the car park up to the hall.

Local amenities

Larkhall has an excellent range of interesting and unusual independent shops, as well as a small Co-op store, all within a few yards of the hall.  There is a café in the square and three take away food outlets. The Larkhall Inn, also in the Square, is the oldest building in the area. Just up the road is the Rose and Crown where a decent meal can be had for a fair price.

Parking/Transport links

Plenty of free on-street parking and a shoppers car park directly outside the hall. There is a bus stop a few yards from the hall with regular buses into the city centre.
